Homestay Opportunities
Being a host family is a unique opportunity to explore new cultures while helping international students understand American customs and learn English. If you are interested in hosting a student and meet the minimum requirements listed below, please complete our online Homestay Application.
Minimum Requirements:
- English must be the primary language spoken at home;
- Must provide a private room furnished (at least a bed, a desk and a dresser);
- Must be within 5 miles from the school;
- Must be accessible to the school by public transportation;
- Must allow kitchen access for the student to cook.
Compensation:
- $900 per month without meals;
- $1100 per month with meals (Breakfast and Dinner, 14 meals per week).
